TOP 5 CD PICKS for Christmas 2011

There is a slight chill in the air and beautiful lights shining on every corner. As the song goes, "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas". When I think of Christmas, I think of love, family and a time of being thankful.

As I pondered about what kind of Christmas presents to give this year, I thought about something that was cost-efficient and that would last throughout the entire year. Therefore, this year, I am choosing to give the gift of music. After all, music has the power to uplift, inspire and encourage.

I originally thought about buying Christmas CD's but then I thought, "You can't really listen to Christmas music throughout the year". Therefore, I decided to bless my family and friends with some really great music that they can enjoy thought-out the coming years.

My topic 5 CD picks for 2011 are:

• 1. Shake Heaven - This is a CD featuring Worship Pastor Montell Jordan of Victory World Church in Norcross, Georgia. The Victory World Music CD is entitled "Shake Heaven" and features artist such as Martha Munizzi, Christian Lewis, Greggory David, Jordyn Alexis, Angelica Torres, Rachael Lampa, Danielle Cruz, Kathy Fitzgerald, Todd McVicker and many more talented Artist and Musicians. Samantha has an amazing gift of encouragement and worship in her music. Some of my favorite songs are "FREE", "cleaning out" and "overwhelmed." Once you hear her play her electric violin you'll understand the word and its true meaning. Have you ever heard an instrument SING? • 5. Christian Lewis - This self tilted CD is from a man that I first came across at a local church in Lawrenceville, Georgia called The House of Prayer, better known as IHOP. This CD keeps me inspired and LIFTED! My favorites on this project are "beautiful man", "better", "if it's alright" and "I can't handle it". Christian uses his God given talent to take you from the outer court straight to the Holy of Holies.
