Top 5 Chocolate Bars

Bridget Ilene Delaney
Almost everybody loves chocolate. Everybody has a different opinion of the best chocolate, too. However, in general, people seem to love certain types of chocolate and certain flavors with chocolate. Here are the top five chocolate bars sold today.

Hershey's Special Dark

It is known that a bit of dark chocolate is good for people. Because of this, many companies are now producing dark chocolate candy bars. However, Hershey's has had their dark chocolate candy bar, Special Dark, on the market for years before it was known that dark chocolate is good for people. The bars have the classic bit of sour taste of a Hershey's bar because of the original bit of sour milk used to make the first milk chocolate Hershey's bars. These bars are especially good frozen. However, they do easily melt when on or near the body!

Dove Dark Chocolate

Dove Dark Chocolate is a great chocolate bar. These chocolate bars seem to come in smaller sizes than the Hershey bars. The dove dark chocolate bar does not have the bit of sour taste. However, it is very smooth and very creamy.

Nestle Crunch

Nestle Crunch is a milk chocolate bar with crispy rice cereal throughout the chocolate. Nestle has found the perfect flavor combination with their milk chocolate and the crispy rice cereal used. These are always better than Hershey's Krackles.

Snickers

Something salty is often wanted mixed with sweet chocolate. Snickers is perfect for this with the peanuts. However, it is also the nougat and the caramel that make a snickers bar delicious. The combination of flavors and textures satisfy all kinds of cravings.

Butterfinger

Butterfinger is great when something chocolate and something crispy is wanted. The flaky wafer with a peanut butter like flavor goes great with the chocolate. A plus is that pieces of this bar go well with ice cream and even with orange sherbet!

As stated in the introduction, everybody has their own opinions about chocolate and chocolate bars. However, these are chocolate bars that are currently on the market and can be found in almost any place that sells candy bars.

Sorry, but none of these turn me on. Once you've tried real, dark chocolate the way the Belgians or French make them, this stuff just tastes like dark colored sugar.
