CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE! And with this year's Christmas being one of the most economically effected Christmas of all time it could really do people some good to just sit down and listen to some of the Christmas Classics of music. Here is an iTunes inspired list of the Top 5 Christmas Albums.

5. Trans-Siberian Orchestra Collections

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has several Christmas albums that were released during the 90's. They are a twist on Holiday music. They combine the classical Christmas favorites with Rock n' Roll. Their whimsical rock tunes will have you rocking out to all of their songs. Some noticeable favorites are A mad Russian's Christmas, Christmas/Sarajevo 12/24, Christmas Canon, and Siberian Sleigh Ride.

4. Classical Christmas

This album consists of forgotten originals. There are so many classics on this album that are hardly ever heard of today during the holiday season. This album is full of rare gems. From Tchaikovsky Nutcracker songs to carolers' classics this album has it all. A real kicker out of this album is that fact that it has some of the best songs ever performed by Arthur Fielder & the Boston Pops Orchestra; songs like Coral of the Bells and Sleigh Ride. In the iTunes store you can find different variations of the collection for nearly $25.00 or the complete collection for $75.00. This is a feature unlike anything else.

3. Merry Christmas: Johnny Mathis

Christmas isn't Christmas without a Johnny Mathis song. This album is a must have, for sure. The upbeat and fanciful songs, Winter Wonderland and Sleigh Ride; the soothing and brilliantly executed songs, What Child is This? (Greensleeves) and Silent Night, Holy Night. This album is nothing but absolute delightfulness.

2. A Charlie Brown Christmas

You can not go through any holiday without hearing from the Peanuts Gang. Charlie Brown and memorable Christmas special had songs that were conducted well by Vince Guaraldi. He and his Trio did the cartoon (created by Charles M. Schulz) much justice. This jazzy album is soothing and tranquil. You'll recognize songs like Linus & Lucy, Christmastime is Here, Skating, Greensleeves, and O Tannenbaum. This is a great album for the whole family. Never go another Christmas without the purchase of this album. You won't regret it.

1. Now That's What I Call Christmas Collection

You can not go wrong with this album. How can you? With Songs performed by Nat "King" Cole, Andy Williams, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, *NSYNC, John Lennon and Yoko, Burl Ives, Elvis Presley, Jackson 5, Paul McCartney, Rihanna, Wham, Brenda Lee, Johnny Mathis...This list goes on and on. There are four albums that you can purchase at the iTunes store. I suggest purchasing all of them. You'll have most of today's holiday's favorites. This album will complete any Holiday collection and satisfy all the attendees at your next Christmas party.
