"Merry Christmas"
by Nat King Cole
Born in Montgomery, Alabama, and with smoothing unforgettable ballets like "Mona Lisa" and "Unforgettable," Nat King Cole couldn't help but produce a dynamic album filled with some pretty interesting Christmas carol music. He also teams up with some of the most amazing artists of our time. By the time of his death on February 15, 1965, he was already a musical genius. That being said, he finally received the honor he undoubtedly deserved, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on March 6, 2000. Even though his music venue was far from Rock and Roll, he was finally honored for his contribution to the music industry. And, legendary singer, Ray Charles was his presenter. From one of the greatest voices of the 20th Century, this holiday classic features the infamous single, "The Christmas Song," written by Mel Torme. At www.amazon.com the prices ranges from (new) to (used), plus $2.98 for shipping and handling.

"My Gift to You"
by Alexander O'Neal (Original Recording Reissued) (Original Recording Remastered)
The album was originally released in 1988 and the label was with Virgin Records. The audio CD, finally released in October 22, 2002, consists of an excellent mix of contemporary and traditional songs and arrangements, brought together by the likes of Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. It consists of one disc.
The soundtrack includes the following songs, with "Sleigh Ride" being my all-time favorite. It has an uplifting, funky beat and it has the great soulful sounds of sexy vocalist, Alexander O'Neal. Then we have the romantic, "Our First Christmas" and the Christmas tale, "Remember Why (It's Christmas)." The CD is also available in Audio CD and Audio cassette and is can be purchased at www.amazon.com from $18.99 (new) to $13.74 (used), plus $2.98 for shipping and handling. Sure, it cost more than the others but, I assure you, it is worth every penny. For that person who likes to get up and shake a leg, they will literally exhaust themselves with this CD.
