Top 5 Christmas Gift Ideas for Your Girlfriend

Alright guys, it's that time of year again, and you're stressing out about what to get your girlfriend for Christmas. Well luckily you don't have to worry anymore because I'm going to tell you what it is they want. I'm a 20 year old girl who has exchanged presents with guys at Christmas since I was 10, so you can trust me. Here are what I believe to be the top 5 Gift Ideas for your Girlfriend this Christmas:

1- Stuffed animal

-While some girls don't go for the whole stuffed animal thing, most absolutely love it. My on again off again boyfriend of five years has given me at least 10 stuffed animals over the years (because I wanted them) and I still have each and every one. We love having something to hug and hold, and there's nothing better than a big furry bear that was given to us by the guy we like/love. To make it even more special, get a stuffed animal that has the year on his foot or something. I have a stuffed animal with the year on it from every year that we have dated, and it makes them that much more special to me.

2- Card

-You can never fail with a card. Whether you are one of those sentimental people who like to lay it all out there, or if you just want to say a few nice words and Merry Christmas, your girl will be so happy. My boyfriend was always great about buying or making me cards (maybe because I always told him to) but he would always write something sweet, whether it was one line or 20- and that is what made my day.

3- Candy/Flowers

-Again, you can't fail with candy and flowers. Whether you just started dating, or you've been dating for 5 years, girls like it when you buy them candy and flowers. This is a win-win situation because sometimes she will even share the candy with you. =)

4- Picture Frame

-This is an easy way to make your girlfriend happy this Christmas. If you don't get her a picture frame, she'll probably get it for herself, so go ahead and do it. She'll love that you put the time and effort into getting a picture and framing it, and she'll put it on her wall or dresser so she can show you off.

5- Perfume

-This is another win-win gift for you and your girl. It's also one that I my boyfriend has given me almost every year. You can pick out the perfume that you think smells best, and give it to your girl so that she will smell amazing. It will make her happy and it will make you happy to be around her. If you don't want to get perfume, you can get some kind of body wash that smells good, or even scented candles. Girls love things that have a good odor, and you should love it too.

So there are my tips for Christmas gifts to get your girlfriend. If you can't find something here then you may be out of luck, but I feel like any of these options, or a combination of some, will make any girl happy. Another little tip that my boyfriend and I have done every year:

Get your girlfriend a large stocking (You can get them at the dollar tree) and put her presents in there. If you get her one nicer thing, you can wrap it and stick it in the bottom of the stocking, then add little stocking stuffers like candy and a card. It makes it exciting to open gifts, and you always find little surprises. This makes it fun and less nerve-racking to open gifts with your girl.
