Top 5 Christmas Gifts that Students Can Give to Their Teacher

1. Supply Basket: You can purchase a basket at any dollar store and fill it with school supplies. Most teachers run low of extra school supplies by the middle of the school year, so it is really something that is needed. Include notepads, rewards, stickers, markers, chalk, an eraser for the chalk board, pencils, pens, paper clips, and crayons inside of the basket. If you want to take it a step further, then add an electric pencil sharpener, a stapler, or a 3-ring hole punch. Wrap the basket in pretty cellophane and stick a bow onto the front.

2. Student Photo: Teachers love to get photographs from their students. You can take it a step further, however, and add the photo onto something. For example, add it to a Christmas ornament or place it inside a handmade picture frame. Make sure you write "For My #1 Teacher" somewhere on the top of it. Sign it with the student's name.

3. Enormous Teacher Mug: I found these large mugs at Michaels, the craft store. They were so huge that they were perfect for decorating. You can paint on them with ceramic paint or you can purchase stick-on messages at the store. The cup was so big that you could paint a message to the teacher on one side and a Christmas scene on the other side. The mug cost $9.99, so it is likely within most people's budget.

4. Figi's Gift: Figi's is a great company to buy Christmas presents. They offer a large variety of food arrangements. I have bought many from there and I have never had anyone come back to me who did not love the gift. The sausages and cheeses are the best, but they also have candy assortments, as well. You can even request that the gift be delivered directly to the teacher's house, if you know the address.

5. Mini Scrapbook: This is perhaps the gift that the teacher would treasure the most. You must be really sneaky to pull it off. You will want to take some pictures during the first quarter of the school year without letting the teacher know that they are for a scrapbook. Have the pictures developed a few weeks before the class Christmas party. Organize them into a scrapbook, making sure to write down all of the events that have occurred during the school year thus far. This scrapbook is a gift that the teacher will be able to reflect upon, and cherish, year after year.
