5. Carnival Spirit. Alaska, Hawaii, the Mexican Riviera. These are a few of the ports of call this floating resort travels to. Every stateroom has an ocean view, (so you can watch the moon rise), and the majority of the rooms have balconies. With a 2 level promenade deck, it has lots of on-board activities to choose from. The Carnival Spirit Empire Room has flexible reservations for dinner dining, or eat at The Nouveau Steakhouse. Call 1-888-CARNIVAL for more information.
4. Regent Seven Seas. This all-inclusive value cruise line welcomes you with champagne and fresh fruit in your suite upon arrival. And that's just for starters. You will also find a refrigerator fully stocked with soft drinks, beer, bottled water, and more, replenished twice daily. Add 24 hour room service, and you have all the comforts of home! The Voyager and The Mariner boasts 700 all-suite, all balcony accommodations, with an international crew of 447 to serve you. Sail from Singapore to Hong Kong, Monte Carlo to Venice, visit Africa and India, Bermuda, Asia, Alaska, Australia, and many more destinations. To get information about Regent Seven Seas Cruises, call 877-505-5370.
3. Crystal Cruises. Crystal Cruises is celebrating 20 years of distinctive service in the cruise line industry. The key word here is luxury and you get to experience it all! From the staterooms and suites with verandahs, to the beautiful ocean views from each room, you will sail in comfort and style. Warm up in a soft kimono, plush robe, and slippers. Enjoy the luxurious bath amenities awaiting you. Select your meals from an eclectic menu, or dine on traditional classics perfectly prepared to please. Sail away to the Middle East, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, or, the Caribbean. To find out more about Crystal Cruises, call 888-722-0021.
2. Windstar. Five-star service and five star cuisine is what you will get when you cruise with Windstar. This is one of my favorite cruise lines with a lot of pluses! It's very intimate, which I like-the smallest ship carries only 148 passengers, the largest, only 312. The ships are motor-sail-yachts, and with a touch of a button, the white sails open up to the sky. Richly appointed with teak decks, beautiful interiors, and lots of closet space, (yes, ladies), you will find a staff that is ready to attend to your every need. The food is great, with a vegetarian menu selection. Three yachts sail to over 47 countries. Book the Panama Canal cruise, one of the more popular ones, or travel to the Greek Isles. You won't be disappointed! For reservations and information, call 800-258-SAIL.
1. Silversea. For Silversea, travel is an art form. The cruise line with the Italian heritage offers refined, high-end service and all-inclusive value. This is by far my favorite cruise line and once you take a trip on board, you will see why. Again, the word to keep in mind is luxury. Their personalized service will cause you to have an exceptional ocean voyage. All the ships are suites, which are magnificently appointed. This is no ordinary cruise line. There is a butler for every guest. He will make sure your room is immaculate, shine your shoes, turn down your bed at night, even prepare and pack your luggage! All while you travel to exotic destinations, such as Africa, the Mediterranean, South America and the Amazon, the South Pacific, or, book a World Cruise. There is 24 hour in-suite dining on some of the ships, (so romantic). And, again, something I like-small groups: the fleet of stately ships average about 296 passengers. The Prince Philip II carries only 132 guests! How's that for intimacy? Go to the salon, shop at the boutiques, swim in the pool, work out in the fitness center, or go try your luck at the casino. Silversea is an unforgettable way to spend a holiday or vacation. Book your travel at 888-313-8883, or visit them on line at www.silversea.com.
