#5 - Monster Energy Drink - Monster is effective when it comes to increased energy and mental clarity. It comes in a variety of sizes ranging from 8.3 oz to 16 oz, which is the average size, all the way up to 24 oz and XXL cans. However, after awhile the good initial taste is overpowered by an after taste that begins to resemble Dimetapp Cough Syrup, which is not a pleasant taste unless you enjoy that kind of flavor (you dirty robotripper!).
#4 - Rush Energy Drink - While the can is roughly the same size as Red Bull it produces a slightly stronger effect. Taste wise it is tolerable with no nasty after taste; however, due to its uncommon availability it shall sit number 4 on the list.
#3 - AMP Energy Drink - Produced by Mountain Dew this is probably one of the best tasting energy drinks on the market. While most of its energy rush is caffeine induced it still gives the user that fresh burst of energy and crisp mental processing.
#2 - Red Bull Energy Drink - One of the earliest energy drinks, Red Bull gives the proper kick desired by the user. For someone who always needs to be on top of their game, Red Bull is great for improving mental clarity. When it comes to taste some people say it tastes foul, but if you are an energy drink enthusiast, Red Bull is one of the better tasting drinks being sold today.
#1 - Sobe No Fear Energy Drink - This is by far the best energy drink you could possibly buy. With a 16 oz can and a price similar to Red Bull, it is the best value when it comes to energy drinks. Nevertheless, when it comes to producing a keen and crisp mind No Fear delivers quicker and for longer duration than its competition. In terms of taste it is probably one of the most tolerable and enjoyable of the energy drinks produced today. One could easily go through a few cans, however, it would be advised, for the sake of internal organs, not to do such a thing.
The 5 listed energy drinks are all solid beverages and can be enjoyed by anyone who prefers an energy drink in the morning rather than a cup of coffee. However, it should be noted that energy drinks can have adverse affects on the body if abused. For every can of energy drink consumed it is recommended that you drink a bottle of water.
