Animals can be best friends. They also help us in many ways. We thank God for giving us animals and we should thank animals that they are food sources for many. They also can created great entertainment and there are always interesting things to learn about them. Farms are a great place to learn about animals. However, there are also interesting facts about farm animals.

The Cow that Killed

A cow once committed murder. This happened in Columbus. A loaded rifle was on or near the ground. The cow moved and managed to step on the loaded rifle. This caused the rifle to discharge. When the rifle discharged, it shot another cow in the head.

Pre-Dyed Wool

Dying wool may no longer be necessary. This is because Russians may have found a way to create sheep with colored wool! Russians claim that they have successfully bred a sheep that grew blue wool. Now, if only they could make a sheep grow argyle wool!

Sweating Like a Pig is a Myth

When people are sweating heavily, they tend to say the are sweating like pigs. This simile makes no sense. The reason why this simile makes no sense is that pigs cannot sweat. This is why pigs roll around in the mud '" to stay cool.

Now in Surround Sight!

Every sound system seems to be coming out with surround sound. However, surround sight is virtually unknown, at least to people. Donkeys, however, can see around their whole bodies! Their eyes are places so they can see all four of their feet no matter how they are looking or standing!

Turduckens Are Passe

Turduckens are a dish often seen in the South around Thanksgiving. It is a chicken, stuffed in a duck, stuffed in a turkey and cooked. Then when cut, most people can get a little bit of each type of meat. However, why bother with a cooked food that has three meats from birds when a live cross of two birds can be found? Chickens and turkeys can breed with each other. This creates a hybrid known as a Turken!

    I love that about the donkeys! Our friend has a dwarf donkey, I haven't seen it but she says it's knocked kneed and bow legged, she said it too funny! I can't believe they can see all four legs that's awesome!
