Terri Beck
A good Easter movie should be enjoyable for the whole family. I believe it should be light hearted and make the family laugh. So, here are my top five picks for the best family movies to watch on Easter.

1. It's The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown (1974)
I just love Peanuts! I watch all of the Charlie Brown specials every year. I have been doing this since I was a small child. Now that I am grown I have brought this tradition into my own family. This is a great family movie that everyone will love.

2. The Ten Commandments (1956)
This is a great movie, even if Easter is not a religious holiday for you. It stars Charlton Heston and Yul Brenner and has enough action and excitement to be enjoyed by all.

3. The Littlest Angel's Easter (1998)
This precious animated tale is sure to delight the young ones in your family. It is a sweet tale of an angel who is celebrating Easter. The animation is very cute! It is a great one for ages 2 through 7 or so.

4. Jesus Christ Superstar (1973)
A perfect Easter movie if you have teens in your family. It may not be suitable for young viewers but that depends on your own preferences. The first time I saw Jesus Christ Superstar I was in high school. I still love it to this day. If your family loves musicals then this is a good one to try.

5. Easter Parade (1948)
This is a true classic family Easter movie! Staring Judy Garland and Fred Astaire, this moving is sure to put a smile on your family's faces. If you love dancing and musicals make sure to pick this movie up.

Ready to buy some of these movies and make them a permanent Easter traditions? You can likely find all of these movies at www.amazon.com. This is where I like to buy my movies. Also, if you are a member of www.netflix.com you can find some of these titles in their movies for sale section. If you are looking for a real bargain, try www.ebay.com to see if you can find a steal at one of the auctions. You better hurry though, because Easter will be here before you know it.
