Drag me to Hell met a great reception at the Cannes film festival and ended up making more than 50 million dollars profit at the box office.
28 Days Later (2002)
"28 Days Later" is widely considered to be one of the scariest movies of all time. The director of "28 Days Later," Danny Boyle, also directed the award-winning breakout hit Slumdog Millionaire. The plot involves the aftermath of a deadly and contagious virus. "28 Days Later" is good for movie buffs who are into the post-apocalyptic thing.
Shaun of the Dead (2004)
A funny zombie flick, Shaun of the Dead is a must for any fans of horror movies, zombie movies, British comedies or spoofs, because Shaun of the Dead is all of these things. Though it is a funny film, "Shaun of the Dead" does not spare the gore, offering up teeth-gritting gory fight scenes to send shivers your your spine.
The Descent (2005)

Martyrs (2008)
Not for the faint of heart, "Martyrs" is a French-language horror drama that is highly regarded for its realistic horror. Centered around a vengeful woman taking back her spiteful past, Martyrs is a suspenseful drama that is as moving as it is terrifying. This movie is excellent for fans of serious onslaughts of hardcore gore.
