Top 5 Firefox Plug-Ins Loved by Hackers

Paul Cabrera
Mozilla Firefox may well be the most adaptable web browser available because Firefox allows users to customize their browser with a wide variety of add-ons.

Many internet users are using Firefox; including hackers because lets face it, Firefox add-ons make hackers' tasks more effortless. In addition to the ease in which hackers can utilize Firefox add-ons, the browser is fast and reliable. Internet Explorer has many problems that often slow computers down and Opera is not as highly supported as these other web browsers.

The vast number of add-ons that Firefox offers its users helps many to customize a browser that works best for their individual preferences. Firefox is easy to use and add-ons are easy to set up allowing internet users the ability to simplify tasks with their desired add-on choices.

Hackers may find Firefox useful because the add-ons it has available can assist them in their dark deeds. Some examples of add-ons that make hacking a little smoother are listed below.

PopupMaster

PopupMaster is an add-on available with Firefox that block popups. This is an excellent feature because we all know that popups cause our computers to run slower and often times we are bombarded with sights and sounds that we would rather not experience. Popups can be frustrating, so adding the PopupMaster can certainly reduce the aggravation that popups often cause.

XSites

Sometimes when we are loading a webpage we are not always aware of the steps that the computer is going through to get the pages loaded. XSites displays all hosts that the loading of the page pass through in a nice little area that can be easily closed and opened. Adding this feature allows the surfer the opportunity to prevent cross-website requests and invasions, or at least to be aware of them.

SQL Inject Me

This sweet little add-on protects the contents of your computer from being exploited. Basically the SQL Inject Me option is available as an add-on with Firefox and its job is to examine your system and keep it safe from SQL Injection susceptibility. To prevent a perpetrator from getting in and reading your content, deleting files, or using your server, this would be a great add-on to ensure the safety of your content.

Passive Recon

Passive Recon is an add-on available with Firefox that gives you a little "in-site" into the history of the website you are browsing. This add-on allows viewers helpful knowledge about the history of the website they are perusing.

Yoono

Yoono is a social network and while it may seem to be quite efficient and safe for it's users it could actually be quite useful to a hacker. This handy add-on allows users to view all of their social networks; Facebook, Twitter, etc. Yoono allows messages to be sent with ease to friends and coworkers and it is easy to view online users and see what they are doing when using Yoono.
