White Rock Lake offers a great combination of visual beauty and serenity with various avenues for outdoor activity. Lace up your sneakers and take a brisk walk or jog around the lake with your honey. Enjoy the art gallery and events at the Bath House Cultural Center. There are even tennis courts for you to enjoy. People also take advantage of the various piers around the lake where you can go fishing. They have magazines, newspapers, music CDs, and of course books for you to enjoy. All for free (but you'll need a library card of course, but the process is easy!). Why not take a look at the historical past of the city through numerous volumes of photographs and directories that date back to the 1800's. You can even research your family history through geneology books and there are always friendly librarians there to help. So you can have a wonderful time at the library with your sweetie bonding over your love for books.
