Top 5 Games for the IPod Touch or IPhone

Seth Luke
Here are the top 5 games for the iPod touch or the iPhone of 2009:

5. Assassin's Creed.
$5.00

Assassin's Creed is a masterpiece. It's the exact same as the Nintendo DS version, but only 5 dollars. The game is very long and worth your money. The animations are smooth and the controls are responsive. The game does not feel like your doing the same thing over and over again like the console version. The graphics are pretty good, but not as beautiful as some other games on the app store. The game play can get a little glitchy, as you can fall through walls.

Graphics: 7/10
Game Play: 9/10
Sound: 10/10

4. Terminator Salvation
$5.00

Based on the hit blockbuster movie of the same name, Terminator Salvation is a 3rd person shooter. The graphics make it look like a play station 2 game. Most notable in the game is the cover system. When you go near an object you can take cover behind it so save yourself from fire in the battlefield. The game is kind of short, but still pretty long for an iPhone game.

Graphics: 8/10
Game play: 9/10
Sound: 7/10

3. Hero of Sparta
$1.99

Have you ever imagined God of War for your iPhone? Well, Hero of Sparta is the closest you can get to it. Complete with amazing graphics, tons of weapons and quick time events, Hero of Sparta is one of the best action games for the iPhone. The game is fairly long, not as long as Assassin's Creed, but pretty long.

Graphics: 9/10
Sounds: 10/10
Game Play: 9/10

2. Pocket God
$.99

Have you ever wanted to be a god? Pocket God can help! Pocket God is a little app where you can do whatever you want to these little guys on an island. There are many things to do on this island, such as fishing, changing the weather, unlocking achievements and more. There is an update every week, so it's worth buying.

Graphics: 6/10
Game Play: 10/10
Sound: 8/10

1. Dungeon Hunter
$6.99

Dungeon Hunter is an AMAZING game. It is the best rpg on the iPhone to date. There is a lot of game time. The gameplay plays similar to the popular mmorpg "World of Warcraft". There are different classes you can choose with A TON of weapons. This game is a must buy to any RPG gamer.

Graphics: 10/10
Game Play: 10/10
Sound: 9/10

If you didn't already know, all of these games on the list other then Pocket God are all made from gameloft. Gameloft is my favorite appstore company and you should expect more games by them to come. Also note that these games are NOT the top 5 apps on the appstore, but the top 5 GAMES on the app store. The games that made this list had to go upon my expectations. Also note that I have a lot of games on my iPhone, but I don't have the whole app store on it. So if your favorite game didn't make the list, then I am sorry.
