Top 5 Gift Cards for College Students for Christmas

Zacharoo
Hello again my fellow people. I'm guessing that by now you have at least read the title (or so I hope), if so and you're still here that means that I have what you're looking for. This is my list of the top 5 gift cards to give a college student for this Christmas season.

1. Best Buy Gift Card

Let's face it, college ain't cheap. Plus, you pretty much need to have at least some tech stuff to get by. Every college students at least a computer, at the very minimum. Giving them a gift card to Best Buy allows them access to the tech materials they might need. Or if they have all of their necessary supplies already, they can use it for games, music, DVDs or other things to keep a busy college student busy.

2. Wal-Mart

Face it, Wal-Mart has some good deals, plus they have a wide selection of everything. Giving them a gift card to Wal-Mart could go to a variety of things: frozen pizzas to stock up, clean underwear (gotta have that), or maybe that 50" flat screen uber sweet HDTV that they've been drooling over. This is definitely a top if you are unsure of what they want or need.

3. Barnes & Noble

College students read, well in theory they do. They should if they want to pass at least. If you want your college student to pass then a gift card to Barnes & Noble will help, plus you know they will be spending on the money on something important .

4. Fast Food Gift Cards

Not only fast food gift cards can be included, but also pizza and other restaurants. Many, and in fact most college students don't have a full kitchen or go straight from work to class or vice versa, having to time to cook. I guarantee a fast food gift card will be used. Most if not all major chains offer them.

5. Amazon Gift Card/Certificate

When I was going to college I usually stuck to getting my books from Amazon instead of from the college book store, it's usually faster and way cheaper. Plus its a great place to sell back your used books after the semester. Amazon offers gift cards and certificates. Just go to amazon.com to find out more.

Remember, all of these cards are available at their retail locations, and most offer on-line versions too, for those college students just too busy to go to the store.
