I tried two different brands of seed and got nothing but crab grass and weeds. had to kill the weeds and use scotts anyway. now i'm happy. extra 5 dollars would have been well worth it but it was easy getting the coupon anyway.
I went to the Scott's site, typed "ez seed coupon" in the site search, clicked on EZ Seed Coupon. Filled out the survey (the only personal info needed was my email address) and opted out of further email, Downloaded the coupon printer , clicked "Run" after the download, waited a few seconds for "Finish" message after executing "Run" and printed the coupon.
It took about 2 minutes.
The coupon printer was something new, but there has been a rash of altered counterfeit coupons circulating around on the web for various products causing problems for retailers, who end up taking the hit when they accept the fakes. So, now we will all have get used to the new measures they are using to combat the coupon fraud. You can thank the all the thieves out there for the inconvenience.
I've been going around in circles trying to get a ez seed coupon. What a waste.
I agree. Advertised on TV and now imposible to locate.
What a scam. Very frustrating, are you kidding me. What a person has to go through to get the coupon, isn't worth the $5. Keep your grass seed.
What coupon? Good marketing does not offend potential consumers...as you are doing. Doesn't anyone at Scotts know about damage control?

Throughout this site the reference is stores,Home Depot & Lowe's then I came upon the remark that Home Depot & Lowe's do not accept the coupons. What kind of double talk is this to consumers....this is deceiving the consumer....for that reason I would not purchase Scott products...Scott put the coupon offer were the sun does not shine!
I sent an email to Scott's and they said, "The coupon offer is from Scotts for $5.00 off of EZ Seed. Go to www.scottsezseed.com. You must install Coupon Printer prior to printing the coupon. Just a note, some Home Depot and Lowe's do not accept our coupons."
