Top 5 Halloween Costumes for a Group

It's so much fun to dress up as a group for Halloween. Here are my suggestions for group costumes for anywhere from three to six family members or friends with makeup tips, costume ideas, props and more.

Baseball Team Group Costumes
Dress in your favorite team jerseys and baseball caps. Buy plastic baseball bats and balls for the kiddies to carry. Wear baseball gloves. Take black Halloween makeup and draw lines under your eyes. The thrift shops have cardboard treasure chests that you can fill with jewel necklaces and plastic coins. Easy for the children to carry.

Grease Theme Group Costumes
Girls can wear hot pink shirts, poodle skirts, or capri pants. The girls in the group can wear their hair in a ponytail attach a pink ribbon. For makeup wear hot pink lipstick. You can also attach a pink sash around your waist or a pink scarf around your neck. Adult females can wear high heels. Buy frilly lace socks for the girls from the dollar store. For the boys they can wear leather jackets and jeans. Wear dark black sunglasses. Guys can slick their hair back with hair gel, little boys would look so cute.

Vampire Family Group Costumes
This is easy for a last minute group costume idea. Have everyone dress in black, black jeans or leggings. Buy black capes. Buy fake plastic vampire teeth for everyone in the group. Paint your faces white with halloween makeup. Wear plastic skull rings. With fake blood put a few drops near the sides of your mouth. Girls use black eyeliner be sure to put it on heavy, black lipstick too if you choose. Carry a plastic bat toy with you on a string or wear light up bat pins. Guys can slick their hair back with hair gel.

Farmer Family Group Costumes
Another easy, inexpensive costume ideas for groups. Everyone dress in overalls and high boots. Someone can carry a pitch fork. Have the kids bring their favorite farm animal stuffed animals such as pigs, cows, rooster, etc. Have a child carry a small metal bucket for milking the cows and have him or her carry the cow toy. Dirty up jeans and faces with dried mud. Buy fake vegetables and carry in a basket.
