Top 5 Halloween Costumes for Teens

Amy Stepp
Halloween is just right around the corner and your teen girl just came up to you with a scantly clad costume that you know is way to "revealing" to be on her body. You now need help in choosing a costume for your teen girl that will make the both of you happy. Below are my top 5 picks for 2009 Halloween costumes for any teen girl. Head on over to www.partycity.com and click on the link for Teen Girls : New for 2009 to follow along with my choices.

1. Wizard Of Oz Dorthy Costume (#529)
This isn't your little girls costume anymore. It has a more adult flare to it with a off the shoulder peasant undershirt and a blue and white checkered dress that fits as long as a mini-skirt does. A lot of coverage, but still a little sexy at the same time. Pick up a pair of red patten leather shoes to top off the costume.

2. The Flintstones Wilma Costume (Internet Only)
I absolutely love this costume because it brings their childhood back to life but in a grown up way. The white dress features zebra print on the hem and the neck. Animal print is big this year so this costume will get lots of attention! The outfit also comes with over-sized white fake pearl necklace and Wilma's wig! Go barefoot to complete this costume.

3.Alice In Wonderland Costume (#303)
This costume puts a punk rocker twist on Alice in Wonderland. The black and white leggings and glovettes complete the white and blue pinafore dress that has an apron attached to it with a graphic of the cat on the apron. Pick up the Alice in Wonderland clock purse and a pair of black Maryjane style shoes to make your teen girl rock out this Halloween.

4. Lovely Ladybug Costume (#574)
This costume still makes your teen girl that little girl you use to remember. The black shoulder strap dress has a red polka dotted bodice with a black tutu skirt attached. The sleevelets match the bodice. This costume also comes with black footless tights and a red and black headband.

5. Vampirina Costume (#650)
If your teen girl is a little more on the Gothic side and still wants to have that girlish feel to her costume this year then try this one out. This costume is a black tutu dress with a red insert a choker necklace with a stand-up collar, black lace sleevelets, and black footless tights. Top it off with some wicked dark make-up and black patten leather platform shoes!
