Top 5 Ideas to Make Extra Money

Sandra Chow
1. Ticklish? For those of you who are ticklish, tickle fetish videos seem to be very popular. Just search for "ticklish" in the Craiglist Jobs section. $100 per hour if you can take it.

2. Exploit (or support) the local Girl Scout. You can only buy Girl Scout cookies from local Girl Scouts. So, during Girl Scout cookie season, the black market for Girl Scout cookies on eBay goes crazy. We are talking $50 for a case of Thin Mints. If you have got a little sister or neighbor, you could make her the cookie leader and turn a tidy profit.

3. Got milk? Though you would never guess, there is a black market for breast milk. It is real, and it can be lucrative. One Norwegian woman, genetically predisposed to produce large amounts of milk, bought herself a car entirely from "milk money." Charging $20/liter, she made over $9000. While it is illegal to sell milk without a license in California and New York, it is still okay in other states. One day, I am going to have a baby. Then, I can just become a cow and sell my milk on the black market. Forget your job, become a cow. (Though less profitable, donating to a milk bank is tax deductible and benefits babies without access to breast milk.)

4. For nimble fingers. One day while searching around eBay, I found 1000 folded paper cranes for sale. While I pooped out around 600 (yeah, 1000 cranes was a lot more than I thought it would be), origamiyyc always has a new 1000 for sale every week earning about $35-40 each time. I do not know origamiyyc's secret, but if you can gather a basement full of child slaves (or bored friends), you too can profit. Japanese legend says that whomever folds 1000 paper cranes earns one wish. At the very least, you could wish to win the lottery or for a shiny new Porsche. Just hurry before origamiyyc saturates the 1000 folded paper crane market.

5. Be the middle man. People offer lots of stuff for free on Craigslist (www.craigslist.org). If you are willing to drive around to pick up the merchandise, you can resell them at garage sales, eBay, or back on Craigslist. Sometimes, you can even find a gem in a pile of old comic books or baseball cards. You may even find a few goodies for yourself.

You have a great sense of humor. I loved it, and too bad not everyone has a sense of humor. Very very funny

I was offended by your use of the word "pooped" in the origami section. Shouldn't you have used the more proper term, "crapped?" Morally reprehensible! What will the child slaves think?

Nice sense of humor! I laugh that some got offended because I too mistook a parody for real news today. :( We all have our off moments.

The Girl Scout Cookie thing would never work in my house. I'd sell them and then find out that half the case was eaten already - lol! We love our thin mints!

Actually there is a LOT in the news right now about many working moms *are* buying breast milk to feed their kids because they want the benefits but don't have the time to do it themselves. So even though it was meant to be funny, it's actually an option.
Cute article! I laughed all the way through it.
