Top 5 iPhone Time Management Games

Time Management Games Are an Extremely Additicting Way to Pass the Time on an iPhone

Jessie Kay
Time management games are casual games that involve doing multiple tasks within a set period of time. These games typically revolve around running some sort of business, have cute graphics, wacky and temperamental characters and 40 to 50 levels. As you progress through the game's levels, new features are unlocked and more challenging tasks await. All of these games are addicting and can easily be played within a short period of time, like waiting for a doctor appointment, which makes these games an ideal choice for an on-the-go device such as an iPhone. Here's a look at five of the best time management games for the iPhone.

Diner Dash:
The incredibly popular PC that brought time management games into mainstream popularity is available on the iPhone. The game is the same as the original Diner Dash title for the PC, which might disappoint longtime fans of the game. In this game, you play Flo, an eager entrepreneur with lofty goals for her restaurant. You must seat, serve, and clear tables in the restaurant. An expansion pack is available and includes additional levels revolving around a holiday theme.

Sally's Spa and Sally's Salon:
These games are virtually the same, except one takes place in a spa and the other in a salon and are exact replicas of their PC counterparts. You play Sally, a business owner who must move customers through the salon or spa, ensuring each customer receives the correct hairstyle, eyebrow wax or hot stone massage of their choice. As you move through each level, the game progressively becomes more frantic and stressful.

Ranch Rush:
In this game, you're the proud owner of a small ranch business. Each level has a customer order that must be fulfilled in order to pass. You'll need to grow, tend and harvest crops and raise animals. As the levels go on, you'll need to use your crops and animals to combine to make goods such as ketchup and jelly. The game has two levels: Novice and Expert. You must finish all the "novice" levels before "expert" unlocks.

Build-A-Lot
In real life, the housing market's in the tank, but not in Build-A-Lot. Play the real estate market by flipping houses for cash. Then, buy commercial real estate properties to build a town. This game has 35 total levels spread out over eight different neighborhoods. As players move throughout the levels, building upgrades become available to add more cashflow to your bankroll.

Cake Mania 3:
Exactly like its computer counterpart, Cake Mania 3 brings an extremely frantic time management game to the iPhone. This version of Cake Mania puts Jill in a time travel expedition right before her upcoming wedding. Three difficulty settings are available. For time management fanatics, set the game on "expert" for an extremely challenging, almost impossible game.

Thanks for the great list. I have only played some of these time-management games, and when I have time, I will definitely give the others a go.

As a developer of a new time- management game called BarStar (http://www.barstargame.com/), we thank you for taking the effort to come up with these kind of lists.

    Thanks again,
