Top 5 Las Vegas Area Restaurants for a Valentines Day Dinner

There are some great restaurants in and around the Las Vegas area for couples to go to for a great Valentines Day dinner. Typically, a restaurant with a great atmosphere and great food is important for a day like Valentines Day. My list of top 5 restaurants for a Valentines Day dinner will provide people with some great information for people who live in or plan to visit Las Vegas on Valentines Day. My description of these restaurants is based solely on my personal experience.

1. Olive Garden:

If you are seeking a restaurant that has a great atmosphere and a bit of class, Olive Garden is the place to go. Oh yes, and don't forget the wonderful food. Olive Garden always has new specials to choose from. Just some of the great entrees offered at Olive Garden include classic spaghetti and meatballs, Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan, Seafood Alfredo, Shrimp Primavera, and of course first class salads, soups, and breadsticks.

There are several Olive Gardens throughout the Las Vegas Valley. The only one I have ever gone to was the one in Green Valley/Henderson. It is only about 10-15 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. It is in a great area because shopping and parks are close by. Also, Sunset Station is only about 5-10 minutes from the restaurant.

2. Macaroni Grill:

The Macaroni Grill is another great Italian restaurant for couples to consider for Valentines Day dinner. Like Olive Garden, it has a great atmosphere. I went there last year and it was a great experience. The wait staff was extremely friendly and provided the best experience possible. The atmosphere is wonderful as real authentic Italian music can be heard playing throughout the restaurant.

In addition to the great atmosphere and service, the Macaroni Grill has exceptional food. Start of your meal with some yummy ciabatta bread with a tomato, fresh basil, garlic, and olive oil mixture. Then, choose from a number of dishes including salads, pasta dishes, salmon, and Honey Balsamic Chicken. I had the Penne Rustica when I went there last year and it was absolutely delicious.

3. Billy Bob's Steakhouse in Sams Town Hotel/Casino:

Billy Bob's Steakhouse is a great place to go for any special occasion, even Valentines Day. I went there for my college graduation dinner and I enjoyed it a lot. My family and I even went there for a Thanksgiving Day meal a few years back.

Billy Bobs Steakhouse in located inside a beautiful atrium located inside Sams Town Hotel/Casino. The atrium is beautifully decorated year round with beautiful foliage, lights, manmade rivers, and several animatronics. Before or after having dinner at the steakhouse, couples can walk the paths that wind through this beautiful atrium. It feels like one is walking through a cool and moist forest.

Billy Bob's has a different atmosphere from the restaurants discussed at the beginning of this list. It is more of a rustic and western looking restaurant, but it still has a sense of charm to it. Also, the steakhouse has some of the best steaks, ribs, and chicken in the Las Vegas Valley. I had one of their Black Pepper steaks for my graduation dinner and my mouth enjoyed every bite.

Sams Town is located at 5111 Boulder Highway in Las Vegas. The restaurant's hours are from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Sundays through Thursdays and 5:00 PM to 11 PM Fridays and Saturdays.

4. Capri Italian in the Sunset Station Hotel/Casino:

I went to the Capri Italian Restaurant in Sunset Station last year while my family was out for my graduation. It was a really great experience. It had some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen in a restaurant. The restaurant itself is integrated into a beautiful courtyard with trees and winding vines. Up above is a very real looking sky. The atmosphere is really calming.

The food is just as good as the atmosphere. They have some great dishes including veal, pastas, chicken, and beef. I had the eggplant parmesan and I must say it was some of the best I ever had. Other great dishes include Chicken Marsala, Orange Roughy, and Fettuccini Alfredo. They also have a great minestrone soup.

The restaurant's hours are 5 PM to 10 PM Sundays through Thursdays and 5 PM to 11 PM Fridays and Saturdays. Sunset Station is located at 1301 W. Sunset Road in Henderson, Nevada.

5. Tony's Pizza:

Just about 20 minutes outside of Las Vegas is Boulder City. Nevada. If you are looking to travel somewhere just outside of Las Vegas for the day, downtown Boulder City is a great place to go. There are a number of restaurants to choose from. I recommend the Tony's Pizza restaurant which is located in the heart of downtown Boulder City. You can eat indoors or outdoors if you'd like. Depending on how warm it is outside, they will keep the doors to the restaurant open so that you can view the scenery of downtown Boulder City while you chomp down on some great dishes which range from delicious cold and warm sandwiches to pizza to pasta dishes. After dinner, you can walk through scenic downtown.
