1) James Looney
2) Blake DeWitt
3) Andre Ethier
4) Clayton Kershaw
5) Rafael Furcal
#1 Los Angeles Dodgers Sleeper : James Loney, 1B - Fantasy Baseball 2009
James Looney is a good young defensive player with lot of talent at First Base. Last year in 595 at-bats he was struck out only 85 times and homered 13 times with 7 stolen bases. He is a solid line drive hitter and has proved that he can hit in a clutch situation. He is expected to develop more power and has got the ability to become a fantasy stud in this season.
#2 Los Angeles Dodgers Sleeper : Blake DeWitt, 2B -Fantasy Baseball 2009
As a Rookie, Blake DeWitt struggled with consistency but he is player with nice batting eye at the plate. Last season he was expected to spend in AA but when Jeff Kent went down due to injury he posted an amazing 273/.342/.394. But in June and July he was sent back to AAA where in he showed his best and earned the eligibility for a back up call and in September he posted a decent .282/.410/.462 line. With tons of Upside, he is expected to develop more power and is expected to show what he can do really in this season.
#3 Los Angeles Dodgers Sleeper : Andre Ethier, OF - Fantasy Baseball 2009
Andre Ethier who can hit for both power and average has led all the Dodgers with 20 home runs and posted an OPS of .885 and in the second half of the season, he posted .992 OPS with batting average of .335. Though he doesn't have the Upside to hit more home runs but he is expected to be consistent and can hit more in this season.
#4 Los Angeles Dodgers Sleeper : Clayton Kershaw, SP- Fantasy Baseball 2009
At the age of 20 Clayton Kershaw posted an amazing 4.26 ERA. He has been ranked as a better prospect by the Baseball America. Though he arrived midseason, he logged more than 100 innings. He has been ranked low because of his inexperience but he is expected to increase his strike totals which can make him a Stud in Fantasy in this season.
#5 Los Angeles Dodgers Sleeper : Rafael Furcal, SS - Fantasy Baseball 2009
Rafael Furcal was under rated but he gave his best in April 2008 batting .367. In May he had a back injury and returned healthy in September batting .258. he has more potential even at the age of 31 and if he plays a full season, he is expected to do more steals in this season.
