Top 5 or More Affordable Photo Printers for Under $100

When I look for computer supplies, I typically go directly to the manufacturer's web page and look in their products list especially when looking for affordable printers. Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, Office Maxx will sell you those printers that they ordered a supply of, but they may be older models and may not save you any money. The retail stores may save you shipping costs and may be the only place you can find the printer. Because many affordable printers are priced low to start with, some of the additional costs will come from printing supplies. Given the fact that affordable printers often are priced similarly and provide similar features, how should you select from the list?

Here's my criteria: Speed of Printing, Resolution, Cost, Shipping, Ink, Additional and Warranty and the list:

All of these selections of affordable printers are good, but I would choose the one printer with the highest resolution and that printed quickest even if I paid more. I often have bought HP printers and had easy installations and long term use. Most of the web sites were convenient to use, easily adding a product into a checkout bin and explaining additional products you might need to purchase. Most of these affordable photo printers will also allow your to buy photo paper and print at 4x6, or 8 1/2 x 11.
