Skiing or Snow Shoeing
Skiing has always been a staple of the season. Rent a cabin and race each other downhill until you can't wait another moment to be caught. Head into the lodge for some warm supper and jump into a hot tub to finish off the day. For those that can's ski, or want a slower paced activity together, go shoe shoeing. This mimics a walk through the woods in other season's except you get to see a whole new world. Enjoy a stroll through an icy wonderland and look for tracks of the other creatures in nature doing the same.
Snowmobiling
For a faster couple, snowmobiling be one of the top romantic dates for winter. Hop on two to race each other or ride together for personal up close thrills. Get a bunch of other couples together for a cross country track and then finish it off at your favorite local hot-spot bar or restaurant.
Cabin by the Lake
You can usually rent a four-season cabin for cheaper in the colder months. Enjoy the unique views of a frozen lake or ask about local ice fishing competitions if you are a sporty couple. Pack plenty of food and beverages in case you get snowed in.
Playing in the Snow
Relive your childhood together by building a snowman or fort together. Get other couples together for a snow castle competition or good old fashioned boys versus girls snowball fight. Have some hot chocolate, hot apple cider or your other favorite beverages that are served warm ready to make as soon as you get inside.
Stay Home
Build a fire or run a hot bubble bath for two. Read a sexy romance novel to each other out loud. Create pictures with thimbles in the frost on the windows. Cook an elaborate candle light meal together in the kitchen. Bundle up and grab a blanket for two to sit on the porch with a couple cups of flavored coffee and enjoy the silence. Who says that getting snowed in has to be boring? One of the most romantic dates for winter can be to not go anywhere and simply do nothing at all but be together.
