Even the most basic, first time cooker should have a slow-cooker. No kitchen is complete without one! While you will not use slow-cooker for every meal, you will soon learn that they make cooking a lot easier on busy days.

Slow-cookers are great for cooking casseroles, soups, stews, meats, and more. Slow-cooker sizes can range from 2-quarts to much larger sizes. They can be found a most department stores, culinary stores, and appliance stores. They range from $10 to $200. Definitely worth the buy!

Indoor Grills have to be one of the greatest inventions for the kitchen. Indoor grills are great for any chef, big or small. Indoor grills take up little space and are easy to clean. They have become the latest trend in healthy cooking. They don't require propane or charcoal and therefore create a cleaner environment and healthier food. Indoor Grills come with a non-stick surface which requires very little, if any, cooking spray or oil. Indoor Grills are a healthy alternative to frying, baking, or outdoor grilling.

A food processer is just one of the many great inventions for the kitchen. Food processers are great for cutting, chopping, mincing, and mixing among other things. While most people don't wake up and cook waffles every morning, a waffle iron is an essential to breakfast.
