Online Book Clubs

Online book clubs are great because they give you the chance to get the newest releases by your favorite authors without leaving the house.

Double Day Book Club, The Mystery Guild, The Literary Guild, and Rhapsody, all have the same introductory offer and membership rules. They have an offer for new accounts: pick four books for $.99, and pick up an extra free one with membership. You also have the choice of picking up your first 'membership' book at a special price of $4.99. You select your favorite books and they are shipped to you. Then purchase four books in the next 12 months. They have deals every month that help you save money while completing your membership obligations. It is a great deal for anyone who loves to read. You can get their flyers directly in your email inbox and respond online. No more returning cards or phone calls. It is very simple and fun. I love getting packages in the mail!

These websites are very easy to use and maneuver since they updated them earlier this year. Each of the book clubs are unique in the novels they focus on.

Double DayBook Club has a hodgepodge of novels. I have chosen many Stephen King and Catherine Coulter from this club. I love her FBI series. (I own almost all of both Stephen King and Catherine Coulter. I do not care for her romance line, but the FBI series rocks!) They have almost everything for any type of reader. It is a great club to start with. They boast "Escape Every Day With A Great Book" as a banner on their website. http://www.doubledaybookclub.com/ecom/pages/nm/nmhomepage.jsp

If you are into mystery and suspense, then The Mystery Guild is for you. I am into detective Adrian Monk, from the TV show Monk on USA Network. There are a few books in the series right now, and thanks to the deals I got at Mystery Guild, I own them all. Check out their site athttp://www.mysteryguild.com/ecom/pages/nm/nmhomepage.jsp.

The Literary Guild has an assortment of great books and authors, too, and I can't wait to join this one. Their website has a banner that boasts,"The Most Popular Books, The Most Popular Prices" and I agree!

Rhapsody is for fans of romance novels. This club is wonderful for anyone who lives for romance novels. I have a friend that I need to introduce this site to. She love Harlequinn romance novels, and I bet she would really like this club! Check it out at http://www.rhapsodybookclub.com/ecom/pages/nm/nmhomepage.jsp

The last book club is affiliated with the others, but has different rules. It is Children's Book of the Month Club. You get six books for $2.00 with membership. You then purchase four more books over a two year span. With the introductory offer, you can purchase your first book for $4.95 and then only have three more to purchase.
This site is for children birth to 12 years old. Check it out here http://www.cbomc.com/ecom/pages/nm/howitworks/howItWorks.jsp.
