Christmas is an exciting time of the year...especially for kids! I don't normally go looking for gifts until the first couple weeks of December. This is when sales are all over the Internet. However, there are still standout stores out there that just drive the competition out of the way. If, for example, you're buying one of the hottest toys/games item such as the Xbox 360 Kinect, you may be in for a surprise.

The reason I say this is that you can actually buy Xbox 360 4GB Kinect far cheaper in some online retailer stores than from the official Microsoft Xbox 360 site itself! Overstock.com sells the hottest Christmas toy/game Xbox 360 console plus the Kinect system for $299.99. It does not include any games. Overstock.com does not offer free shipping, but they provide a lot of information on how to pick the right game console for Christmas gift to first time buyers.

Toys R Us
The Xbox 360 Kinect bundle is such a highly-sought Christmas gift item this year that even huge stores such as Toys R Us run out of stock. It is sold for the same price as the Microsoft Xbox 360 official store but only online. Although you may get savings back when you use your Mastercard or Rewards R Us, they do not give the option to notify you when the Kinect becomes available.
