He is supposed to be fighting for a spot in the bullpen though and he had a great year in the minors in 2008. Rundles had a 2.91 ERA in 52.2 innings in AAA for Buffalo.

The Cleveland Indians had high hopes for Jonathan Meloan when they traded Casey Blake for him last year. Meloan did struggle in AAA last year posting 4.30 ERA with the Buffalo Bisons as they tried to turn him into a reliever. This year they will be testing him out in the bullpen for the Indians.
