The Professor
In this article we will examine the Top 5 Overall Kansas City Royals Rookies and their fantasy baseball value. They are ranked by their projected 2009 statistics in common fantasy baseball catagories.

#1 Overall Kansas City Royals rookies: Mitch Maier- Fantasy Baseball 2009

The positives with Mitch Maier are that he is scheduled to start the season in the majors. The problem is that he is stuck behind a solid outfield in Kansas City with Coco Crisp, Jose Guillen and David DeJesús. Maier can hit the ball though so he could win the fourth outfielder spot which would give him a decent amount of playing time. Last year in AAA Maier even hit .316 in 85 games.
