Top 5 PS2 Video Games for Christmas 2009

There is no doubt that video games are one of the top items on most Christmas lists. Playstation 2 offers an awesome selection of video games. I would be that there are more video games for PS2 than any other game system. Here is my list of my top five PS2 games for Christmas 2009.

Guitar Hero 5:

With the Guitar Hero phenomenon sweeping the nation over the past couple of years you can bet that the new Guitar Hero 5 that was release in September of 2009 will be a popular gift this holiday season. Guitar Hero 5 features some of the greatest musical legends of all time such as The Rolling Stones, Santana, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash and more. This newest installment of Guitar Hero features an awesome new party play mode.

Madden NFL 10:

Released in August of 2009, Madden NFL 10 features Pro-Tak, which is a new animation technology that enables the player to have more control over plays. The presentation of Madden NFL 10 is that of television broadcasting. You will also find enhanced online play as well as an enhanced franchise mode.

NBA 2K10:

NBA 2K10 offers even more realistic animation, awesome graphics and all-new gameplay components. NBA 2K9 was the #1 selling and rated NBA game and I can bet NBA 2K10 will prevail again in the #1 spot.

Disney Sing It, Pop Hits:

Disney Sing It: Pop Hits is an awesome karaoke experience. Sing along to music and videos from some of Disney's hottest young pop stars and other artists featured on Radio Disney such as Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, Jesse McCartney, Colby Caillat, One Republic and Cold Play. This game offers single player mode for solos or multi-player modes in which players can sing duets or compete against each other. This game offers 30 awesome songs. You can also record your performance and play them back!

Band Hero:Band Hero coming November of 2009 is sure to be a big hit. From the makers of the ever so popular Guitar Hero, Band Hero features chart hits from acts such as Taylor Swift, Jackson 5, No Doubt, Maroon 5 and so much more. One of my oldie but goodie favorites is on this game, "Mr. Roboto" by Styx. There are some great hits on this one!
