LOST season 6 is coming like a storm cloud, and with it the torrents of answers and resolutions that LOSTies have been yearning to learn for years. As Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse prepare to tie up their loose ends in the show's finale, there are a number questions to keep in mind.

Beware, spoilers abound in the following:

What happened to Claire?
The mother of mystery, Claire has been mysteriously absent from LOST since the middle of season 4, when she left her baby and went with her deceased father into the woods. Viewers await Claire's story in LOST season 6, along with her reasons for leaving her baby and spending quality time with her dear old dead dad.

Who is Jacob?
The season 5 finale brought with it a shocking revelation: Jacob is a man who has touched the lives of the plane crash survivors even before their island excursion. Now Jacob has apparently been killed by his unknown nemesis masquerading as John Locke and Benjamin Linus. So, the question to be answered: who is Jacob, is he dead, and why?

What happened in 1977 to stop the Incident?
The season 5 finale left viewers with Juliet struggling to ignite a hydrogen bomb to stop an Incident that threatened the entire island. A bright flash ended the finale, and now viewers wait for the upcoming season to reveal whether Juliet is in fact dead, and whether the crash survivors will make it back to 2007 in one piece.

What is the identity of the man impersonating John Locke?
The revelation in season 5 that John Locke had died was a big shocker to viewers. The revelation that John Locke was alive once again was perplexing to say the least, and considered a cheap move by some. The revelation that the John Locke that was walking around was actually Jacob's nemesis, intent on killing Jacob, brought everything full circle and revealed a mystery that viewers are eager to understand.

LOST season 6 will likely reveal the mystery of Jacob's nemesis later rather than sooner, but the fact that Jacob has a nemesis and that his nemesis has killed him will probably take center stage at some point. It appears as though the duality of these two characters is the central plot of the story of LOST. It will receive star billing at some point.

Why were all of these people brought to the island?
Over and over again, the characters of LOST have spoken of their destiny. Jacob's visitation of each of the crash survivors seems to confirm that these characters have been brought to the island to serve a very specific purpose. LOST season 6 should reveal all of these secrets that the writers have been waiting for 5 seasons to show.
