Top 5 Restaurant Time Management Games

Mollie Quinne
Restaurant time management games such as Diner Dash are quite popular as they are an incredibly fun way to kill time but also help you improve reflexes and hone skills. In restaurant time management games, you are asked to serve guests of your restaurant based on what they ordered. In some of them, you're required to prepare food yourself while in others, you have an employee who prepares the food for you.

Restaurant time management games are fun for adults and children who are just looking to relax and play a quick video game or others who are ambitious and looking to beat the entire game. Throughout all time management games, you're able to unlock new, exciting surprises along the way whether this is new dishes, employees, machines, or decorations.

The best thing about time management games is that you're often allowed to have a one hour free trial before you actually buy the game to ensure that you like it. If you don't like it, your trial will just expire as you play and you won't have to pay a cent. BigFishGames.com is the best website to go to if you're looking to download free trial time management games.

Here are five of the best restaurant time management games that I have played:

1) Diner Dash

Diner Dash, in all of its glory, is probably the most-played restaurant time management game. There are many different variations on Diner Dash including a seasonal version and a time travel version. In Diner Dash, you play the character of Flo as you seat color-coded guests in their matching chairs to earn bonuses. Once the guests are seated, you'll take their order and serve them their food. After they eat, you'll clean up after them. This cycle continues until your restaurant closes for the day. If you meet your daily goal, you move on. If not, you must try the same level over again. While this may sound like it would get boring, it is fast-paced and will never fail to entertain you for a few hours as you lose track of time.

2) Jessica's Cupcake Café

Jessica's Cupcake Café is one of my favorite time management games because you are the owner of a cupcake shop. What is more delicious and eye pleasing than cupcakes? Nothing. In this game, you pick two cupcake recipes you'd like to make before you begin the level. Then, you must create the dough, cook it, apply the frosting and the decoration before you're ready to serve. You get a few moments before guests start showing up to prepare the cupcakes, and you can stockpile them as high as they go. Once guests appear, you'll have to start serving the pre-made cupcakes while you continue to make more! Jessica's Cupcake Café is exciting and energetic.

3) Burger Shop 2

Burger Shop 2 is a wonderful restaurant time management game because you are able to choose what you serve in your restaurant and you're able to pick a new food on each level. Burger Shop 2 is different from other restaurant time management games as it more based around preparing the food than it is about serving the food. On Burger Shop 2, you have a conveyor belt with all the food parts that you must click on in the correct order to create your customers' meals. Beyond burgers, you're able to serve ice cream, fries, beverages, shakes, and most everything else you'd expect to be served at a burger shop!

4) Cake Shop 2

Cake Shop 2 is similar in format to Burger Shop 2. In Cake Shop 2, you also have the conveyor belt that you use to make cakes instead of burgers. You also are able to serve ice cream, beverages, and other food items on Cake Shop 2. This is a great dessert version of Burger Shop 2, and both of these games will keep you entertained for hours on top of hours.

5) Cake Mania 2

I don't know why, but it seems the best restaurant time management games are based around sweets! On Cake Mania, you must prepare the cakes similar to how you would in Jessica's Cupcake Café. You must choose the correct shape of cake to cook, the correct frosting, and the correct decoration based on what was ordered. Then, you must deliver the cake to the guest before they get upset and leave!

You can find more time management games available on BigFishGames.com, and I'm sure you'll be playing for longer than you ever expected. They're highly addictive. Have fun!
