The outfield is an important position to place great players. For 2009, these are the top right field position battle contenders in the fantasy baseball draft: Ichiro Suzuki, Vladimir Guerrero, Magglio Ordonez, Nick Markakis, and Alex Rios.

Right Fielders: Ichiro Suzuki, Seattle Mariners

Ichiro is batting far above league average with .310. In 2008 he became the youngest player to reach 3,000 career hits (he record used to belong to Ty Cobb), led the league in hits, and had is 8th consecutive 200+ hit season. With great fielding skills and getting the bat on the ball so often, Ichiro Suzuki is a prime player for any fantasy baseball league.

Right Fielders: Vladimir Guerrero, Los Angeles Angels

2008 was not a good year for Vladimir Guerrero even with his .303 batting average. It's expected, though, that in 2009 he will have a comeback.

Right Fielders: Magglio Ordonez, Detroit Tigers

One of the league leaders in batting average, Magglio Ordonez is a great addition despite the team he's on. At 6-feet and 215 pounds, Magglio is a ball stopping brick wall of an outfielder.

Right Fielder: Nick Markakis, Baltimore Orioles

With 17 assists at right field, Nick Markakis had a lesser year in 2008 when he got bumped into the number 2 slot rather than starting. Even so, he was in the leagues top 10 for AVG, OPS, OBP, G, H, R, BB, 2B, RC, OPS+, and lead the league in the times on base. It's expected than in 2009 he'll bounce back and go back to his stellar seasons.

Right Fielder: Alex Rios, Toronto Blue Jays

With the second most homeruns of the 2008 season, Alex Rios hit 15 home runs, 79 RBIs, and stole 32 bases for a .291 batting average.
