Top 5 RV Campgrounds in the US

Toni Murphy
It's that time of year when the serious RVers are hitting the road for places known and unknown. There are literally thousands of RV campgrounds across the United States that offer a place for the RV traveler to park, but some of us are looking for more than just a parking spot. We want a place that offers us a shady spot to take a quiet afternoon snooze, a swimming pool with shimmering clear water to cool off in on a hot day, maybe even a pond to do a little fishing in and of course, a magnificent sunset to end the day. It's also a plus if there are nearby attractions that the whole family can enjoy. The following campgrounds are my top 5 picks of campgrounds that meet these requirements plus more. I hope if you are able to visit any of them you will feel the same.

I hope that if you are able to visit one or all of these campgrounds that you will be able to enjoy each in their own uniqueness. You may note that all 5 of these campgrounds are KOA campgrounds that is because I feel that no other campground can come close to what most KOA campgrounds have to offer. I have no affiliation with KOA other than I find their campgrounds to be one of the best places to park my RV and enjoy the good life.
