1. Cold spots are one of the most frequent types of occurrences. They are nothing more than what their name suggests: it can be a cold spot hovering in the air, a cold spot on or near a certain item like in a rocking chair, or a certain spot on the bed. Most often these spots move around or seem to appear then disappear. Rarely, but more frequently with spiritual mediums or those with capabilities are accompanied by phantom smells that also can appear then disappear.
2. Feeling like someone is touching, tapping, poking you, pulling at your hair when no one is near you. This is often a frightening experience for most people with good reason. A lot of the times this kind of interaction will not occur unless provoked. It is not a good idea to provoke a spirit or entity. They could possibly cause you physical harm, but besides this, you don't want them to decide you are not welcomed in their place. If you do not wish to live in harmony (or the entity does not) and ignoring them won't work, it may be time to call in an expert in the field of Parapsychology to determine the root of the problem and solve it, or release the entity from the dwelling.
3. Frequent unexplained electrical disturbances - occurrences with no reported or known local power outages or problems. The body is made up of atoms and spiritualists believe that part of each deceased person will become one with the universe.
4. Hearing disembodied voices - you can listen for these by recording yourself with a tape recorder while you are in the room asking a few minor, nonthreatening questions. Very rarely the voices are strong enough to be heard without the aid of recorders.
5. Experiencing visual manifestations. Manifestations are best described as something that you can see with your own eyes that cannot be explained. These can be from a ghostly mist, a shadowy figure appearing or disappearing or even walking a short path or perhaps watching you from the other end of the house or a hallway (this includes seeing shadowy figures out of the corner of your eye, sometimes the size of a child), poltergeist activity such as items being thrown around a room, or items rearranged when no one is occupying a room, causing a light to turn on and off, making a piano play seemingly by itself and so on.
