Top 5 Sitcoms this Spring For Mothers

AmyBrowne
While there are many sitcoms on television this season, few deliver the laughter that these ones do. I hope you find you favorite TV show listed below, but perhaps you will find a new favorite, just the same. Here are my top five favorite sitcoms for this spring's lineup.

Sitcom #1

In the midseason replacement show for Ugly Betty, In the Motherhood will be shown it is a new sitcom and will depict the real adventures of single moms with young children. It will be interesting to watch this TV show and see how close they come to showing the real life stress of being a single parent. The children in a preview I watched seemed rambunctious, just like other little ones would be so I think this shows promise. Cheryl Himes stars as one of the moms, and she herself is a mom in real life. There are some links below for you to enjoy at the end of this article.

Sitcom #2

Rita Rockswill be back with its zany cast of characters and will bring in the laughs of the Clemens household. Here is a middle class family with a young daughter and a teenager so you get the teenage drama mixed with the comedy of a mom who wants an escape so she starts a garage band with her friend. It is a healthy outlet and a great family sit-com. Nicole Sullivan plays the starring role on this TV show and will no doubt bring some humor from real life motherhood to the screen this season.

Sitcom #3

Reba will also be delivering her one-liners and wacky comedy on the Reba TV show . On this television show, she is a single mom who lives next door to the Ex and his new wife, who simply adores Reba to the ninth. Reba McIntyre plays the staring role with the ease of a seasoned professional and really makes the show funny. I know single parenting is a hard job, but she makes it look so easy.

Sitcom #4

Two and a half men will be airing new shows about divorced brothers Chuck and Allan who live with Chuck's teenage Jake. Berta the wise cracking housekeeper is also back to keep the men in line this season on the TV show. Charlie Sheen plays Chuck, while Jon Cryer plays Allan and Angus T. Jones plays Jake. Conchata Ferrell is the unforgettable Berta the house cleaner.

Sitcom #5

My name is Earl is back for the fourth TV show season as it follows the lives of those characters that live in Camden County. Jason Lee plays the staring role of Earl, a simple man who is a petty thief, turned good person because of a vision he had when he was drugged up. He lost a big lottery ticket juts before he was hit by a speedy car, and once he becomes a good person after his revelation he finds the golden ticket once more. The show also has Randy, Earl's dimwitted brother and Joy who is the ex wife of Earl. They all enjoy life in the best way possible and always bring in the laughs.

I hope you will enjoy some of these sitcoms, they are among my favorite type of TV shows to watch.
