This is my number one favorite site to get scripts because it has just about every script out there! From E.T. to Good Will Hunting, IMSDB has nearly every script you will ever want to read. And it has them in an accessible way. Every time I look for a script I always go to this site first and they almost ALWAYS have the script I want, so search your heart out and become better at writing scripts by reading them!
I recently came across this movie script page and it is vary useful for the film lover, not only for reading scripts, but for watching trailers, seeing what latest films hit theatres and what films came out on dvd. It also includes reviews of films and posters, which is a bonus if you are a film obsessed person like me who loves anything I can get my hands on about film.
3. http://www.moviescriptsandscreenplays.com/
This is a good site that has many film scripts and easy access to them. However, it offers the same information as movie-page save a couple of scripts that may be only hosted on either site. Remember, never give up when you are trying to find a script, somewhere, in some PDF or text document, it is out there and waiting for you to read it!
4. http://www.simplyscripts.com/
The reason I love simply scripts is because it not only has movie scripts, but it includes TV scripts as well. So if you want to read your favorite TV show (mine is Fringe) then you can go right to the site and read it. Very helpful if you are in the career as a TV screenwriter. Read on, TV lovers!
Most of the time, if not all the time, I simply just type in whatever movie I want, followed by the word script, like: Jurassic Park Script. Then, I get a list of sites that carry it. Be wary, because some sites carry a virus, however if you search well enough and safely enough you are sure to find the script you want! This is very helpful as some scripts, such as "The Fountain" by Darren Aronofsky are very hard to find, nearly impossible. However, with a huge search engine like Google you are sure to find what you are looking for.
So, unless you would like to open your browser each time you want to read a script, you need to learn how to get them from the webpage onto your computer into a word file, in this article: here.
Tell me what you think! Do you like the list and what script site would you add?
