While others want to party and spend their spring break in Cancun or other party cities, you prefer the quite yet fascinating historical sites. You might be a history buff. 1. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The City of Brotherly Love and also the city where I was born and raised. This historical place has all the best attractions, because its one of the oldest cities in America. It has the Independence Hall which is the place where both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution was signed. Also the Congress Hall which is the home of the Congress when Philadelphia served as the nations capital during 1790 to 1800. 2. Washington DC, Maryland

The nations capital, Washington DC, has a lot of attractions as well. I visited it about 3 years ago and went to the White House which is where the President lives. I also visited the Lincoln memorial which was a statue of Lincoln. If you are a history buff you must visit the Washington Monument, a 555 foot high obelisk, you can go on an elevator to an observation desk for view of the the whole city as well. Also in Washington DC is the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which is a sad but yet beautiful attraction. 3. Empire State Building

A notorious building located in New York, the Empire State Building being 1250 feet high is a stunning attraction for history buffs. This monument is open 7 days a week from 8:00AM to 2:00AM. You may go to the 86th floor and the 102nd floor and view the great city of New York. Everyone must go through a security check and no glass or bottles are permitted. 4. Statue of Liberty

Also located in the immensely populated city of New York is the Statue of Liberty. Located on a 12 acre island this historical attraction is known by everyone in the world. A giant, green statue which is the universal symbol of freedom and democracy. This statue was dedicated on October 28, 1886 and became a monument in 1924. 5. JFK Library and Museum

This historical attraction is located in Boston, Massachusetts. It is dedicated to the 35th president of the USA John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated. This museum also house the Declaration of Independents and is one of the biggest museums in US. The museum is open from 9:00AM too 5:00PM 7 days a week and admission is only 12 dollars for adults, 10 dollars for seniors, 9 dollars 13-17 and free for kids 12 and under.
