Top 5 Strangest Google Blog Searches

Weird Search Terms People Use to Find My Blog on Google

Kelly Spies
As a web mistress, one of the many things I do is keep track of what interests the people who visit my blog so that I can continue to give them what they are looking for. In tracking my Wordpress blog statistics I discovered that visitors coming from Google were using some pretty extreme search terms to find me.

I use a handy tracking program by Yahoo called MyBlogLog. MyBlogLog shows me that out of all the terms used to google my blog; the strangest ones are used most often. Here is five of the craziest search terms used to Google my blog.

5. Squeeze me - I list this as number 5 but it's so funny I almost listed it at number 1. I make a weekly blog post called F##ked Up Friday News that's about crazy things that go on in the world. At the end of one particular post I featured an image at the bottom of as my parting comment. Since then, I have gotten more traffic from searches for images of "squeeze me," than I know what to do with. The image is of an enormous pimple on the back of some guy's neck. It just goes to show that you never know what people are searching for on the internet.

4. Gay Mormons - Who knew there were so many people looking for gay Mormons? One time I posted about a group of Mormons that created a semi-nude calendar in the name of Christ. Mormons Exposed, Men on a Mission was created by Mormons to show that they can have a strong faith and a sense of humor. To date I have so many people using this search term on Google that I'm starting to consider the religion, if for nothing else the page views. Aren't Mormon's against homosexuality? Aren't gays against Mormons?

3. Nun whores - I discovered that this is a porn site. I think I have gotten a lot of visitors using this search term because I have a whole section on my blog about religion. When I found out that so many people were arriving from Google this way I went with it and posted about the aforementioned porn site.

2. Fake titties taste funny - I saw a man wearing a tee shirt with that slogan on it. I thought it was funny so I took a picture of him and posted it on my blog. As a result of that post I now receive many visitors looking to see pictures of the shirt. I'm guessing by the sheer number of people looking for this item that it sells pretty well.

1. Man F*#ked by gorilla caught jacking off - There is seriously something wrong with people who use that as a search term but I see it at the top of my statistics every day. First of all I'm not sure why people want to see a man screwed this way and secondly I'm not sure if they're looking to see both acts being done at once or separately. Very strange indeed.

All this leads me to one question. How well do we really know our internet friends?
