1.Use hand sanitizer. Using hand sanitizer throughout the day can go a long way to keeping you free from germs. I recommend a hand sanitizer with moisturizer to keep your skin from drying out, such as Antibacterial Moisturizing Hand Lotion by Body Essence.
2.Take the stairs. Whenever possible, get moving and take the stairs rather than the elevator.
3.Pack healthy snacks. Rather than buy chips, candy bars and sodas from the break room, bring some granola, fruit or raw veggies to snack on.
4.Take advantage of online wellness assessments. If your employer provides an online assessment, keep tabs on your health by accessing it frequently and providing any information of concern to your doctor.
5.Focus on the positives. Studies show that stress and anxiety can manifest into physical symptoms that lead to illness. Turning your thoughts to something pleasant can go a long way to keeping you mentally and physically fit.
