Well my brother is getting ready to go to college and it is a shame that he isn't as wierd as I thought he was, because he wouldn't qualify for any of these.

It's a shame they didn't have some of these when I was in school. I think I could have qualified for some of them, but that last name one, though.

I'll come clean, Twitter made me do it! lol Thanks to a brain that leaks like a sieve, one of our fellow writers posted a link to someone who listed 10 weird ones. Light bulb went on and my first thought was, great article! So, I did do a general search for them and picked the ones you see here. :-) I was thinking the same Radell on letting everyone know there is more money for college than anyone thinks there are. Thank you all for stopping by to read them and for liking them.

    Thanks for the great article:)

What I really like about these two articles, besides the humor, is that it is encouraging people of all ilks to get a higher education...and to find scholarship money to do it with. The financial aid department of most colleges actually have a book you can go through that list all known scholarships (even quirky ones like these) that they know about. Another great job by you, Karen!
