Top 5 New Year's Fashion Resolutions for Moms

S. Morris

I have had the same boring fashion for years now. I never make it a goal of mine to change it up or try something new. Can you relate, as a mom, or just at all? Being a mom means keeping more attention on my kids' clothes, fashion, and I tend to forget my own style. This coming year maybe you have plans to change up your fashion in your resolutions? I know I do and here are my top 5!

Out with the old and in with the new. My first goal is to go though my "comfy" clothes, that have been around for years, and donate to a shelter(if in decent enough condition). The sweat pants, old T-shirts, etc. Starting on my new road of fashion. Then, I will plan the new items I will need and save.

Accessories. Each outfit of mine will now be bought with a matching accessory. No more plain or boring outfits for me. I will add a simple, easy item, that adds flare to each outfit. Spicing up my wardrobe. Such as a fashionable belt, scarf, or hat. This will be an item I can put on quickly, so my busy mom day can go on the same, but I will feel a bit better with my fashion when leaving my house.

More color. This goal, is to add more color to my style. I am a mom on the go. Never taking the risk of colors. I always stick with the browns, greens, navy blues, etc. Never very brave to try something fresh with a bit of color, so I will in 2012.

Right sizes. No more clothes that are to baggy, long, etc. I will not be lazy and I will try on at the store, until I find the right size. I have always been one to just basically guess what will fit me. Then I get home and they were not right! So, I would just settle with them so I would have clothes. Not anymore, in 2012 try on, try on, try on!

Study fashion. A big resolution of mine will be to keep up with the "in" style. Now, I probably wont get exactly all the styles or each fashion right. Though I will try to and not leave the house in jeans an old shirt and worn out shoes.

These are my top five New Years Fashion Resolutions. They are small and simple, but a big change for me personally. I believe it will sure feel better to me!
