Top 50 Feel Good Movies of All Time

Candice
Everybody has different ways of lifting their spirits when they're down. Some people love curling up with a good book, or going for a long walk on the beach, or snuggling up to a pint of Ben & Jerry's when life gets too much. But the most popular way of feeling better when times are tough is to get cozy on the couch and put in a great movie that just makes you feel good.
Everyone has their favorites, but here's my list of the top 50 feel good movies of all time. Now your list may be different, but I guarantee, there will be at least one movie here that will turn your frown upside down. :)

These top 50 feel good movies of all time are listed in alphabetical order for your convenience.
They also do not conform to any particular category (as "feel good" movies don't necessarily mean they have to be a comedy or romantic), they are from a variety of categories so you'll be sure to find at least one that suits your tastes.

If not, than you're just a sour-puss and nothing will please you. Ha! No, just kidding. If you couldn't find one of your favorites on this list then leave me a comment with your favorite feel good movie(s), and I just may add it to the list.

Pirate Radio has to be the most fun I have ever had at a movie. If you want to laugh, dance and have fun.... For women I would add Shirley Valentine.

Most of my All-time favorites are on this list, so I like your taste in movies. I will have to check out the ones I haven't seen when I get a chance. Thanks.

If a guy don't get the girl then it's NOT a feel good movie. I don't feel good about it. I may like the movie; i may like the writers decision but it's NOT a feel good movie. Almost Famous and Casablanca are NOT feel good movies, they are ONLY good (Casablanca-great) movies.

You forgot the "Money Pit" - Tom Hanks. A scream!! Especially for anyone who's ever renovated a house....
And that film with Goldie Hawn and Steve Martin ("Housesitter?")

Uhh. Chocolat. Johnny Depp...... He's more edible than the title.... :-)

Nice list, there are so many of my favorites on it that I am bookmarking this page as a reminder when I am thinking about what to watch. Pretty Woman is pretty well near the top of my list, ahh Richard Gear.
