Top 50 Spring Break Party Songs: The Ultimate MP3 Playlist

Road Trip Songs, Rock and Roll Songs, Party Songs, and Vacation Songs

Aly Adair
Spring Break runs from the end of February to early April all over the world. In some countries Spring Break is called Reading Week or Study Week, but here in America, we call Spring Break Party Week and millions of students hit the road for the ultimate beach or party destinations in the United States. Some popular Spring Break road trip destinations are Florida beaches, Texas beaches, and Las Vegas.

Young generations might not know this, but Spring Break has been celebrated since World War II. Ft. Lauderdale Florida became the number one Spring Break destination in 1960 after the movie Where the Boys Are was released. Connie Francis and the girls set out to find boys during Spring Break and the song Where the Boys Are (click link to hear Connie singing live) was a smash hit. Click here to view the original 1960 movie trailer for Where the Boys Are, a movie about Spring Break in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Great list! Here's a newcomer: "Spring is Friggin' Awesome", a very funny 90-second tune by New York songwriter Chris Alastair. iTunes, Amazon etc. Funny video with lyrics, too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PXgDXTluf0
