If you're a Smallville fan and want to see what others have to say about the show, as well as share your own thoughts, here are the top forums that I've found as well as the kinds of Smallville fans who hang out in each one:
1. Krypton Site Forums - this is pretty much the unofficial forum for Smallville. You'll find the most members and the most conversation here. Be warned that people are particularly passionate about potential (and actual) romantic couples on the show, especially the ones involving Clark Kent. (Fans in favor of a Clark and Chloe romance especially are all over this forum and love to talk about it constantly). Oftentimes discussion will get very heated.
2. Television Without Pity (TWOP) - if you like the character Chloe Sullivan, the friendship or potential romantic relationship between Clark and Chloe, or you're sympathetic to Lex Luthor and don't think of him as the big evil, then this might be the forum for you. In my experience here, you'll come across intelligent discussion, theories, and possible scenarios for the show a lot of the time. But due to the sometimes seemingly irrational love for the characters I've mentioned above, you'll also often find opinions that'll make you raise your eyebrows in disbelief (especially if you're a Lois, Lana, or even a Clark fan).
If you like Lana, you'll probably want to stay away from here. To say the least, she is the most unpopular character on this board. Lois doesn't get a lot of love here either, even though she has a few defenders. And even Clark fans will want to take caution about the atmosphere of the board at times, even though he has a few hardcore defenders who'll come to his aid when he's dealt criticism as well.
Heated discussions happen here almost all the time. And a feeling of frustration with the direction of the show permeates the board, so if you ever want to rant about what's going on, then you'll have open ears willing to listen here.
3. Devoted to Smallville - here you'll find a variety of fans on this forum, but not as nearly as much conversation as Krypton Site or TWOP. Lately, most of the discussion typically takes place within the shipper sub forums (the term 'shipper' refers to fans of romantic pairings), so if you're not one for talking or reading about the romantic relationships and angst of Smallville, you might not want to spend too much time here.
4. Superhero Hype - this is a smaller board with less members as well, but friendly, non-bashing conversations is strongly encouraged and permeates the board most of the time. You can communicate with the kinds of fans that are more general fans of the show and the Superman character and are willing to talk about all aspects, not just the ones related to relationships on the show (though the people here also have their own particular favorite characters and relationships too).
5. Superman Homepage - mostly fans of the Superman/Clark Kent character (especially from the comic books) hang out here. Not a lot of conversation happens here, either. And sometimes there tends to be frustration about how Smallville portrays the character on the show.
6. CW Lounge - this message board has only been around as long as the CW network (which at the time of writing is about a year). This Smallville forum started out okay, but now it's become a place where people do little else but squabble about Clark and Lana, Clark and Lois, and the Lana Lang and Lois Lane characters. You'll find more threads bashing one (or all) of the aforementioned than you will about the show in general. So unless you want to engaged in bashing based mostly on character/shipper bias, then you'll probably want to stay away from this board.
7. Smallville Fan Forum - this is probably the board with the least amount of conversation about the show. I don't visit it too often for this reason. Posts tend to peak after an episode airs, then it gets quiet again.
Go visit any forums that catch your interest, read what's on the mind of your fellow fans, and post your own opinions!
