In Brooklyn, you can experience just about any type of cuisine imaginable. In most cases, you do not need a reservation, but it does not hurt to call ahead. The prices, in most cases, are better than they are in Manhattan and the quality is just as high, so come to the outer Boroughs and have a great time.

Armando's Ristorante is located at 143 Montague St, Brooklyn 11201 in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood. It is a classic Italian restaurant with a business/casual atmosphere. It is in a busy part of town and can be very crowded at lunch time. They are open 7 days a week, Daily: 11:30am-12am. The menu is huge and pasta dishes range from $9.95 to $18.95, entrees from $14.95 to close to $30.00.

The Brawta Café is a Jamaican restaurant located at 347 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn 11217 in Downtown Brooklyn. They have a different lunch special every day and the menu is simple, steak, chops and fish in season. They have the best creamed spinach in town and you order the steak for one, two or three. Cash only, so bring a full wallet, but expect the best.

The Stone Park Cafe at 324 5th Ave, Brooklyn 11215 is a modern American restaurant where the dress is dressy/casual. They are open for dinner Tue-Thu: 5:30pm-10pm. Fri-Sat: 5:30pm-11pm, Sun: 5:30pm-9pm and brunch Sat-Sun: 11am-3pm. Definitely make reservations for dinner on the weekends. There are six entrees ranging from $19 to $29.
