Football season is in full swing and its almost time for March madness. What better time than now to take a look at how the 2010 NCAA basketball recruiting classes are shaping up?! After landing the top class of 2009, Kentucky Coach John Calipari is still working on the Cats 2010 class. A big factor in his decision making has to be how many Cats that he believes will turn pro in the 2010 NBA draft! With potentially 3 2010 NBA lottery picks on the UK squad this season with John Wall, Patrick Patterson, and Demarcus Cousins, it remains to be seen what needs Cal will attack out of the 2010 recruits left on the board. The 2010 top 10 recruits are: Harrison Barnes, Brandon Knight, Jared Sullinger, Jelan Kendrick, Fabricio de Melo, Josh Smith, Josh Selby, Reggie Bullock, Perry Jones, and Will Barton. Barton made noise earlier in the year by choosing to go to Memphis over Kentucky and other major programs that had been heavily recruiting him.
