Holiday Gift Guide

Getting gifts for music lovers is one of the easiest things to do. You can get a variety of gifts for them - and you have choices in terms of what kind of gift you want to give - something with a message, a personalized gift, electronics, accessories for electronics they already own...the list just goes on and on and on. So what should you get for your music loving friend? Here's a list of ideas to consider:

An Mp3 player with some songs on it already - $45-$70:

you can get them a nice MP3 player with songs on it already. Depending on your personality, you can go for something like the Rio Cali, or the iPod nano if you an afford it. Here's the top 3 that I know of :

Rio Cali - the exterior of the Rio Cali MP3 player is rubber which makes it very easy to grip and carry. The Rio Cali MP3 player comes with 128 MB or 256 MB internal memory life, which can be expanded with an SD card or MMC card. The Rio Cali has more to offer than just being a MP3 player. It can play music in .WMA format too, and also features a full blown FM tuner.

iRiver IFP-790T - Equipped with a 256 MB memory to play your favorite songs and store upto 8 hours of music. The iRiver IFP-790T costs just under $60 making this an affordable solution as opposed to many of the costlier media players out there. The iRiver IFP-790T gives excellent battery life and can play for over 40 hours with just one AA alkaline battery. It also has a built in microphone to record stuff on it, and a built in FM tuner.

Creative MuVo TX FM - The Creative MuVo TX FM comes in three memory sizes - 128 MB, 256 MB and 512 MB. This is one of the smallest MP3 players in the world and the total weight of the Creative MuVo TX FM is 1.5 ounces. The Creative MuVo TX FM has a pull-apart design which allows you to separate the battery case from the device which can then be used as a file storage device too (it is USB 2.0 compatible).

As you can see, each one has something different to offer. Upload some of the favorite songs of the recipient and a message from yourself if you'd like.

Ipod accessories - If they already have an iPod, you can get them some cool accessories for the iPod - an arm band, a strap, a car charger, a belt hanger...or you can even make a set by mixing and matching different ones.

Unlimited download membership - Get them unlimited downloads from the Ipodsite. This way they'll be able to get unlimited number of songs for no per-download fee. This is also a very reasonable gift to give and will get them lifetime downloads. Something that they'll definitely appreciate if they're a music fan.

Get them CDs from some bands that you know will affect them positively - I recommend getting CDs from the Newsboys, Third Day, Casting Crowns, Todd Agnew and so on. You can also add a personalized message on the CD if you wish.

Get them a guitar or piano guide (or for some other musical instrument) - This is a great gift for someone with a creative mind and someone who desires to learn how to play a musical instrument. Get them a good tutorial guide for any musical guide. A really good training program for guitar playing is availablehere. The best piano lessons and guide I know of is available here.
