Top Amazing Steakhouses in Austin, Texas

Rich Jones
Texas is widely known to know some of the best BBQ in the world and the reason is that they take it very seriously. It isn't just food to them to a way to make money but to them it is a way of life. I have found some of the best bbq that I have had in my life while in Texas but I am someone who has always loved steak ever since I had it when I was 9 years old. Whenever I travel anywhere I make it a point to visit the local restaurants and buy some streak. I often visit steakhouses when I travel around the United States and I can say that some of the best steakhouses I have ever been to are located in the city of Austin, Texas.

Ranch 616 in Austin is probably one of the best steakhouses that I have ever been to because of the combination of atmosphere and food. Their margaritas are amazing and they serve a large variety of things from flog legs, pork tenderloin, mini burgers, and steak. They are open until 10pm Sunday through Thursday and 11pm the other nights. I had the honey glazed pork tenderloin and it was amazing because it had just the right amount of spice in the flavoring. The presentation was beautiful and I spent about $20 for my experience, which is a fair price, based on the quality of the food and the beautiful waitresses here.

Perry's Steakhouse & Grille is one of my favorite steakhouses in Austin also. They offer half price appetizers before 6pm and their loaded potatoes are some of the best I have ever had. They have amazing pork chops, ribs, and steak that is literally so soft that you do not need to cut it with a knife. If you like soft steak then this is the place to go. They also have live Jazz for your entertainment and it creates a very beautiful atmosphere that is good for any occasion. I spend about $30 here with appetizer and it was worth every bit and more.

Austin Land & Cattle Company is another one of the best steakhouses in Austin and what this has over the others is that the setting is more relaxed and casual. The servers are very helpful and friendly. They serve great lamb chops and steak. You can get butter on the side with the steak and use the butter to dip the steak. This is an amazing experience because the food is so good. They are open until 10pm Sunday through Thursday and 11pm on other nights. This place charges $40 for a filet steak but I enjoy the food and the portions are good.

Flog legs? Steaks are bad enough to PETA types but do you have to add S&M to the menu?

Why is there no negative (thumbs down)pick allowed on the "was this helpful" box?
