California Fishing Forums
http://californiafishingforums.com/
California Fishing Forums (CFF), covers the entire state of California and offers a wide range of awesome posts on different fishing areas. As is the case in most of the United States, bass angling (largemouth and spotted) is the main focus of the forum, but CFF has sections for other types of fishing as well. CFF also sports a cool Veteran Angler and Fishing Guide section where users can post questions to some of the top fishermen in the area.
Fishing Network
http://fishingnetwork.net/
Fishing Network is one of the busiest of all of the southern California fishing forums. It is probably the most popular of all with large sectiosn devoted to both freshwater and saltwater. Anglers living in the northern California region also have a section of the forum devoted to them as well, although it is considerably less busy than the coastal and SoCal sections. If I could only use one fishing forum for all of California, it would definitely be Fishing Network.
Hook Up Sport Fishing
http://www.hookupsportfishing.com/
Hook Up Sport Fishing is a great forum with a photo and video section on the main site as well. It is focused on the SoCal freshwater and the SoCal saltwater fishing scene. The forum subsections are smaller than what is offered at FishingNetwork, but the quality and volume of reports from different bodies of water in California is excellent. One problem I have with this board is that it seems to lag on Mozzilla Firefox for me whenever I load new forum topics up. This happens both on my laptop and on my desktop, and they are running decent processor speeds and have great internet connections. I don't have this problem with other popular fishing forums, so I really don't know what it is that causes this. Hopefully, other anglers don't have this issue with Hook Up Sport Fishing.
Bloody Decks
http://www.bloodydecks.com/
Bloody Decks, or BD for short, is not just a California forum, but I am including it as it has a huge California following. It is mainly geared towards the hardcore saltwater crowd, a no-nonsense bunch of dedicated anglers. They have a great logo, and I have seen it on many different boat trailers, SUVs and pickup trucks in California. If you are a salt water angler, definitely make an account and start posting on BloodyDecks today.
